Our Story

Our story began in 2015 with a simple idea: the spices and herbs growing in Sri Lankan soil hold some of the most powerful wellness traditions on earth, and they deserve to be made as easy to take as anything on a modern shelf. We came from humble beginnings, with the very first batches hand produced on a simple manual machine in a 150 square foot room. Today we operate a 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Matale, and we have grown into a full wellness brand spanning herbal supplements, premium standardized extracts, functional powders and lattes, collagen and beauty, gut health, sleep and stress support, women’s wellness, energy and everyday immunity.

What makes us different is the soil

The heart of Ancient Nutra is Sri Lankan provenance. Our Ceylon Cinnamon, Turmeric, Ashwagandha, Gotukola, Moringa and Ginger come from Sri Lankan growing regions and supply chains, not generic global sourcing. This island grows some of the purest botanicals in the world, and that purity is something no one outside Sri Lanka can replicate. Our Organic Ceylon Cinnamon in particular is produced with an uncompromising focus on purity, which is the foundation of the quality we are known for.

We pair that heritage with real formulation science. Our own research and development team works on potency, bioavailability and delivery, so that an ancient herb is not just present in the product but actually works the way it is meant to.
